Mistakes! People always make mistakes. Whether from the perspective of a producer or a consumer, there is no fail-safe product.\u00a0How can we anticipate potential errors? How can we figure out the kinds of mistakes learners are going to make when they go through a training activity? \u2026<\/p>\n<p>The following paragraphs give you some tips to handle any errors upstream and as a result, enhance the quality of your contents.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #008000;\">First<\/span><\/em>, let&#8217;s assume that something will go wrong and let&#8217;s inform learners onward. When something seems\u00a0erroneous or risky, it is important that users know what to do about it. Scientists have conducted researches\u00a0and\u00a0classified errors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Performance errors<\/em> are mistakes users\u00a0make while fulfilling\u00a0steps to complete an action. They may be\u00a0commission errors (take additional useless steps), omission errors (forget steps) or wrong-actions errors (perform inadequate\u00a0actions)<\/li>\n<li><em>Motor-control errors<\/em> are false physical gestures\u00a0users\u00a0make when handling an application device, like swiping a screen instead of touching it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These predictable types of errors should always be considered while designing an application in order to prevent users\u00a0and\/or inform them\u00a0about the correct(ive) actions to take.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid black; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Tip<\/span>: Anticipate potential problems\u00a0and inform users on remedial\u00a0actions<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Teach on Mars illustration on anticipating issues:<\/span>\u00a0ToM Enterprise offers both downloading videos or playing them in streaming mode.
