Unbelievable?<br \/>\nNo, it is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trunice.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#TruNice<\/a> and it is Unique, and\u00a0the\u00a0first\u00a0of its kind to take place, last\u00a0Friday, May the\u00a029th 2015, at \u201cIMREDD\u00a0Immeuble Nice Premium\u201d, Nice.<\/p>\n<p>Teach on Mars was part of the\u00a0happening, with CEO Vincent Desnot\u00a0invited\u00a0to run a discussion on the new innovative ways to\u00a0learn at work, which\u00a0include one of the most pioneering methods: Mobile Learning!<\/p>\n<p>At this first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recruitingunblog.com\/the-tru-story\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#Tru\u00a0Unconference<\/a>,\u00a0organized in Nice, HR\u00a0communities\u00a0spontaneously exchanged\u00a0opinions and experiences on HR\u00a0up-to-date\u00a0affairs without power points or pitching or badges or any\u00a0other similar aid. And\u00a0Vincent generated\u00a0numerous observations from the participants when\u00a0addressing\u00a0training methods:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>French culture\u00a0holds classroom\u00a0training as its reliable favorite: the teacher or trainer\u00a0is an\u00a0ambassador who transmits a passion,\u00a0along with the company&#8217;s ethics. Face to face training\u00a0is an opportunity for social networking and sharing\u00a0experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Alternatively, the\u00a0industrialization of\u00a0E-learning, during its first 10 years,\u00a0entailed a drastic cut in training cost, which came at a\u00a0price of its own: the dehumanization of learning. This in\u00a0turn generated a loss of efficiency, as interaction\u00a0decreased along with trainee motivation,\u00a0especially for topics not easily transferable to the\u00a0e-learning format (i.e company ethics)<\/li>\n<li>E-learning should\u00a0remain a complementary tool, that cannot\u00a0entirely replace face to face training. It may provide\u00a0theoretical knowledge on the subject but not so much on the\u00a0behavioral aspect, the all so precious feel and\u00a0&#8220;know-how&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>The current trend in the work environment leans\u00a0towards the dematerialization of boundaries between private\u00a0and professional lives. An enriched e-learning model might\u00a0address\u00a0the need for a fun, enjoyable and\u00a0easily accessible training method, anytime, anywhere. Mobile\u00a0learning, serious games, WebEx,\u2026 bringing more\u00a0interactions and meeting these needs.<\/li>\n<li>The virtual community, like all\u00a0things, reaches its limit: people demand face to face\u00a0interactions, team work and colleagues,\u00a0increasing teleworking privileges.\u00a0Therefore, does a classroom\u00a0have to remain a Must to allow these people to keep on\u00a0cooperating together?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All these issues and\u00a0concerns affect each individual person\u00a0acting in\u00a0the Training Department, and\u00a0probably trigger some questions inevitably.<\/p>\n<p>#Tru-Nice and Teach\u00a0on Mars have thankfully\u00a0already provided a first set of Q&amp;A!<\/p>\n<p>Interested?
