{"id":39930,"date":"2023-06-10T10:00:08","date_gmt":"2023-06-10T08:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/?p=39930"},"modified":"2023-11-23T15:31:01","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T14:31:01","slug":"sort-through-your-communications-with-archiving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/en\/blog\/2023\/06\/sort-through-your-communications-with-archiving\/","title":{"rendered":"Sort through your communications with archiving!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>After certificate management in the Mission Center, Teach on Mars is providing new and highly-rated feedback: communication archiving.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before we bid farewell to spring, Teach on Mars is announcing a new and hotly-anticipated feature to tidy up the Wall of your app.<\/p>\n<p>Very soon, Mission Center administrators will be able to sift through communications and archive whatever is no longer up to date.<\/p>\n<p>The feature has three main objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to enable Mission Center administrators and Community Managers to provide users with an updated Wall<\/li>\n<li>to also allow them to keep engagement statistics for archived communications \u2013 and to reactivate them if required<\/li>\n<li>to offer greater clarity and readability for a smoother communications administration experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How does archiving really work?<\/h2>\n<p>Archiving communications will be done in a single click: a new icon will appear to allow the administrator to change the communication status.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39924 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Home-archiver-une-com-1024x517.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"517\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Home-archiver-une-com-980x495.png 980w, https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Home-archiver-une-com-480x242.png 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All that\u2019s left to do is to confirm that you wish to archive.<\/p>\n<p>You can then filter the communications page according to status, so that you only see communications that are online or, on the contrary, only those which are archived. You can make an archived communication visible at any time by changing its status to \u2018online\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39926 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Home-vignettes-1-1024x517.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"517\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Home-vignettes-1-980x495.png 980w, https:\/\/www.teachonmars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Home-vignettes-1-480x242.png 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In terms of statistics, you will now be able to recover information from archived communications, as well as published communications.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>And for learners?<\/h2>\n<p>For learners it\u2019s very simple: archived communications are no longer visible on the Wall.
