You need to introduce the course (and introduce yourself if needed), as you would do in a face-to-face session and clearly set out the learning agreement.<br \/>\nHere\u2019s a description structure you can use:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Opening gambit:<\/strong> engage your learners and get their attention.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Subject:<\/strong> present the subject to your learners \u2013 what will the course be about?<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Learning objectives:<\/strong> clearly state what your learners will be able to do by the end of the course.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Unfolding:<\/strong> set out the programme (main categories).<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Course duration:<\/strong> estimated duration in minutes.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Start of the course:<\/strong> use an upbeat and lively tone.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>N.B : if your courses are open to all but aimed at a specific population, it\u2019s important to state the target in the description. <\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Practical example<\/h3>\n<p>You\u2019re in charge of training for a perfumer and you\u2019ve just created a course about a new fragrance for the sales team.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s an example of a description:<\/p>\n<div class='et-box et-shadow'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><p>The Centifolia Rose blooms in Grasse for only three weeks each May. Let\u2019s go!<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h1>Formulating engaging titles<\/h1>\n<h3>Methodology<\/h3>\n<p>Several titles feature in a digital course: the course title, the titles of modules or main sections and the titles of activities.<br \/>\nIt is important for all your titles to be engaging and suited to your target population.<br \/>\nHere are a few tips for successful writing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opt for lively expressions,<\/li>\n<li>Follow a consistent editorial approach,<\/li>\n<li>Feel free to use the pronouns \u201cI\u201d, \u201cwe\u201d and \u201cyou\u201d,<\/li>\n<li>Use storytelling conventions,<\/li>\n<li>Be inclusive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>The course title<\/h3>\n<p>You first need to choose the name of your course.
