For the third year in a row, Teach on Mars is in the famous “9-Grid<\/a><\/em>” of the European analyst Fosway<\/a>, among the best “Learning Systems<\/em>” in the “Specialists<\/em>” category, as a “Strong Performer<\/em>“.<\/p>\n

Learning Systems<\/em> in 2021<\/h2>\n

Like at the beginning of each year, Fosway publishes its 9-Grid\u2122 for Learning Systems<\/em>, a report taking the temperature of the digital learning market in Europe, based on the analysis of thousands of data rows by tools, internal experts and a network of contributors.<\/p>\n

This year, something new is emerging from this analysis: the \u201cLMS\u201d, \u201cLXP\u201d and \u201cNGLE\u201d labels used by the market to classify solutions no longer hold much meaning<\/strong>. Indeed, many solutions, all claiming to be LXPs, can prove to be fundamentally different. At the same time, LMS have started to improve their interfaces by offering mobile access in particular (although far removed from the experience offered by sector experts of which Teach on Mars was the pioneer in 2013), making reading the market even more complex for buyers.<\/p>\n

Fosway therefore assembled all of these solutions under the umbrella term, \u201cLearning Systems\u201d and placed them into two categories: Suites & Specialists<\/em>. (NB: These two categories still remain open; specialists continue to complement their solutions with traditional LMS functionalities while suites embed specialised capacities).<\/p>\n

Fosway CEO, David Wilson, emphasises an important point about the grid combining “Suites<\/em>” and “Specialists<\/em>” at each of his talks: the best solution for your company isn\u2019t necessarily in the top right corner. A solution which costs 10 times less and covers 90% of the functional scope you\u2019re looking for, may turn out to be the best choice. The right combination of solutions (particularly a suite and a specialist) such as \u201cTeach on Mars + Cornerstone\u201d may also prove to be the most attractive option.<\/p>\n
