Be warned, in this article I\u2019m going to quote both Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela<\/a> and Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi<\/a>. It\u2019s serious stuff!<\/p>\n

The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has gained prominence in our company. But what are we actually doing about it? Hindered by sanitary and economic constraints and racing against the clock each day \u2013 like all start-ups \u2013 this is the question we\u2019ve been asking ourselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cEducation is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world<\/em>\u201d. Nelson Mandela<\/strong><\/p>\n

In December 2017, we set up the Teach on Earth<\/a> association to provide the public with a free application raising awareness<\/a> about societal and environmental issues.<\/p>\n

Teach on Earth leads an ecosystem of companies and private individuals all dedicated to this mission of raising awareness about the challenges associated with sustainable development goals, so that everyone can do their bit for the planet. It works in partnership with NGOs and associations to create and deliver training courses all year round. For example, this week we published a course on protecting minors online with the association e-Enfance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Teach on Earth relies on sponsorship to implement its vision. I urge any company which would like to get involved with the initiative to support the association (contact@teachonearth.org<\/a>) and any individual who share its values, to join.<\/p>\n

We have of course set up a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) committee. It meets each month to consider how we can contribute \u2013 digital pollution, mobility, internal awareness-raising, support for Teach on Earth, environmental clean-ups, waste (and mask) management, etc. There is no shortage of subjects and its discussions are free-flowing.<\/p>\n

Our actions are small-scale, but we were delighted to be recently honored by a jury presided over by former French Environment Minister, Corinne Lepage<\/a> for our initial efforts.<\/p>\n

“More learning moments. Better future”<\/em>. Teach on Mars<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, our real challenge<\/strong> still lies before us: to persuade you \u2013 yes, you the client \u2013 to integrate educational activities about sustainable development goals (SDGs) into your mainstream professional programs. You and us as companies share a historic responsibility and we must do everything we can to move in the right direction.<\/p>\n

What use is learning and becoming \u201csmarter\u201d if it\u2019s to destroy our planet a little more each day?<\/p>\n

This is the major issue we invite you to address together \u2013 making education about SDGs an integral part of training policies. Considering our partners as citizens of the planet. Becoming activist companies each in our own way.<\/p>\n
